One of the clients of my employer asked me to configure Nagios (a tool for monitoring server in the network) for them. In this article I'll write down my experience with the tool and the configuration of Nagios using Oreon. I won't explain how to install the Linux box and install Nagios on top of it, I'll just cover some of the problem I encountered while configuring Nagios. |
